A Mid-Century Modern Bathroom

Small original 1950s mid-century modern bathroom upgrade. The design process revealed that a small bump out on the side of the bathroom would provide an additional 30 square feet of space to make the bathroom feel more like an adequate primary bath. The old rusty cast-iron tub was replaced with a new walk-in shower. To save space the entry became a pocket door. The bump out created a new space for the toilet and made the flow of the original mid-century modern bathroom much more functional.
